Passion Fruit Smooth Sphere | eos Lip Balm Review

There has been a lot of fuzz going on for a while about eos especially with the unique lip balm packaging. But most importantly, one looks at what is inside.

An eos lip balm has a distinct flavor that entices. Like a perfume you'd always want to smell its scent and maybe come back for more every time.

Passion Fruit flavor of the eos lip balm collection is one I have learned to love the moment I got hold of it. I just love the scent so much. It makes me feel feminine and happy every time I open my eos. Yes, that's right, it takes me to happy land! (laughs) It is not overpowering and just blends right with my usual perfume. I like the scent of this flavor among other eos flavors which were launched.

The eos Passion Fruit is included in the 2015 Spring Pack eos Lip Balm Limited Edition set.

I particulartly use my eos before I dab on my lipstick. The moisturizing properties of eos is okay. It's really good for everyday use. Not that I compare it to another favorite lip balm (you misread that). I have another lip balm for those days when my lips are super chapped and the weather is very uncooperative. But for everyday use, eos provides me with all the lip moisturizing that I need.

Of course, the packaging is always a plus. Its unique design of an egg has always caught the attention of people nearby whenever i stick my eos out to apply it. So much for being subtle, I guess.

Will I recommend it? Oh yes!
Price: I think it is a bit pricey for a lip balm. But you can always get it on sale on ebay. Beware of fakes though! They are everywhere.

Does your eos lip balm sphere Expire?

We just found out something very interesting with the new batch of eos lip balm we got this year. The January 2015 release of eos organic lip balm to be specific. The eos 2015 Spring 2-Pack Limited edition which includes the Passion Fruit sphere lip balm and Fresh Watermelon sphere lip balm flavors surprised us with an expiration date engraved so lightly at the bottom. One could hardly notice them without looking very very close.

Our photos below seem optimal. We had a hard time trying to capture them with the perfect light. Now you'll see that aside from being safe, organic and absolutely not harmful to our delicate skin, eos has made sure we are aware of until when we can still use them. An eos expiry date seems in order, indeed!

The relevance of an expiration date to our beauty products ensures that we will only be able to use them when they are still potent and at their peak of skin moisturizing ability. Well, of course they work as skin moisturizers, so we don't want to apply them when they no longer work.

When we got the box of these goodies, the sweet fresh scent immediately caught our attention ( Not to mention, everything is tightly sealed and protected by bubble wrap).

Although not surprised because we already knew what is in these teeny boxes, we are still awed as always how much scent these sphere lip balms give off, much more to our luscious lips when we apply them, right? Perfect for pre-lip tint or lipstick application or perhaps applied on its own.

The eos 2015 Limited Edition Spring 2-Pack has Passion Fruit, the lavender one and the Fresh Watermelon ,the crimson one, flavors. Among the two, we love the scent of the Passion Fruit Lip Balm. It smells really good but not overpowering.

eos 2015 Spring Pack Limited Edition back-to-back with eos Rachel Roy 2014 Holiday Edition

Since we have a couple of hours to spare, we took to the road the eos 2015 Spring Pack Limited Edition back-to-back with eos Rachel Roy 2014 "A Ray of Sunshine" Holiday Trio Set.

We had a chance to play with them and hope these beautiful flavored eos lip balm smooth spheres captured your eye with stunning colors and bright hues.

We have yet to try all of them but soon enough we will feature a lip balm review for each lip balm flavor.

Eos Passion Fruit Lip Balm flavor is the purple or lavander one, the pink one is the eos Fresh Watermelon Lip Balm flavor.
